Revo-Rack is a completely new type of Mazda MX5/Miata RF Luggage Rack that eliminates the risk of paint damage, caused by steel clamps or straps on the fragile boot lid edge. Revo-Rack was developed for the MK4/ND/RF as the panel gaps are only 2-3mm there is no room for a traditional luggage rack clamp on the boot or trunk lid edges
With the Revo-Rack no metal touches your MX5 only soft rubber vacuum cups these use the pressure of the atmosphere to secure the rack to your Mazda's boot or trunk lid.
This model of Revo-Rack is specific to the RF with the small rear lip spoiler and has an additional hole drilled in the frame so the third vacuum cup can be mounted to avoid the small lip spoiler on the RF.
All Revo-Racks are supplied with a cotton storage bag and two webbing luggage straps
Revo-Rack has been independently tested by TUV Italy part of the global TUV testing and certification business. The rack went through speed, braking and force tests, to ISO 11154:2006 the international standard for car roof bars and the European Directive for general safety 2002/95/CE. Revo-Rack passed all these tests : If fitted correctly it won't fly off ! Revo-Rack is the only convertible luggage rack globally that has been tested in this way.
